Maintaining relationships with other humans is a giant PITA. It's just not worth it.

I live an hour away from Washington D.C. Now ask me how many times I want to brave I95 and TONS of tourists, in order to visit the awesome museums and such in DC.

What year is this? What happened to the M1, M2, ... MN chips of Apple's? Is Apple going to go with Motorola after Intel???

Obviously I couldn't read the article due to it being paywalled.

If you can't read, why comment?

>It is unclear which Apple products Intel would make chips for, according to the report. Intel and Apple declined to comment.

It was a joke. Sad your sense of humor left you about the same time as your manners.

As I have aged out of childhood into and through adulthood, I have discovered that MANY of my beloved childhood stories are ... "weirder" than I remember.

Wait ... is this THE Cliff Stoll???????

Yes, you can also buy klein bottle hats or bottles or scarves from him, and he will send you funny notes/literature along with it. Cliff is awesome

The legend himself. I feel honored to be within the same thread as he is. I cannot tell you the number of people I have recommended his book to. I have even shamelessly plugged it to my 13-year-old son. :-D

I would love to see a listing of some of the more interesting Burning Man clean-up finds.

> "and cost only a few cents each"

Now companies are desperately trying to figure out how to jack up the price to $10.00 each without us knowing they are ripping us off.

One thing I have discovered about myself [fairly] recently, is that I want, at least, two buttons, preferably three, and a separate track pad. This entire giant surface for multiple mouse buttons and a track pad combined, sucks. Most times, I just use a wireless Logitech mouse with my laptops, but I am not always able to do that. And when I cannot, I am back to hating the monolithic, multi-function pad, button, thing.

Kind of like a music-version of the Enhanced Games?

It's looking more and more like The Matrix was correct ... the end of the 1990s was peak human civilization.
