Incidentally, it would be nice if you could backtrack to remove colored path blocks if you make a mistake like accidentally dragging across a small corner. I've only tried the webapp version, so not sure if that works in the iOS one.
This is how some sports betting scams work. I can email a lot of people with one side of a wager and another large lot with the other side. The next week I'll just use the winning side email pool to send out another split wager. All the while I invite bettors to join my foolproof pick service. In a few weeks I'm looking pretty good to a small group.
I absolutely love the fact that a laptop fully based around the web is being denied a caps lock key. Good riddance. I think 99% of its usage (constants aside) is for trolling/yelling.
I like to use it as my Control key, though. I'd be concerned that they would replace it with something else and I'd have to learn to twist my pinky unnaturally again.
This is exactly what I was about to say. It looks like they've used the caps lock position for the Fn key on the cr-48, so it looks like this may not be possible on this unit.
Then again, I guess it's not that big a deal since the ctrl key doesn't really get used on the web.
Photos of this laptop leaked several days ago, with greater detail on the keyboard. It is indeed a search key. The shift key also has a light on it, suggesting that it can be double-tapped to activate caps lock.
ok, so i must say web represent a very very very low priority on my internet usage. having only 'the web' would be like cable TV with only the weather channel.
Looks like a neat idea, but can you please add a Terms of Service page, even if it's just a brief one? That might set folks a bit more at ease for posting their TODOs and reminders.
According to the site, Groupon will take 30% if the deal is promoted (which seems to include email/Facebook/Twitter advertising) and 10% if not. It's not entirely clear if you can pick any deal to be promoted (after approval by them), or if that option will be throttled somewhat.
Making an app was trivially easy and aside from the intro text (due to it being a demo) it was nice to see there weren't extra instructions a la "please select from the following options." Of course in testing this I made the old "orange you glad I didn't say banana?" knock knock joke that switches paths on the third time.
Yeah, sharing links to your apps should work. If you make an app without creating an account, it is publicly shareable for about 1 day. Whoever creates an account to save it will take ownership, and then it becomes private.
