Do you mean the web client or the electron app? The former should work if the browser itself is compiled with the necessary flags (at least chrome, chromium, firefox), and I believe they are mostly packaged this way nowadays.
The electron app is not yet working as per the arch linux wiki.
I've also felt the need for something similar in various moments. It would be certainly interesting!
I have no idea on even how to start building something like this, but don't you think an OS / community hosted wiki like would fit this use-case well? Especially when/if aiming to make it free.
I had to quit coffee last year. Bad headaches the first 3 days, got back to normal after about a week.
One of the interesting effects I noticed, is that my energy levels are more constant. No more highs, no more lows. Also, and this might be significant, my anxiety levels decreased significantly (I'd often get a mini panic attack if I drank a bit too much coffee, which happened every few days).
The thing about constant energy levels happens with sugar as well.
This allows me to have around double to time I had before of productivity. In the past, I wasted a lot of time being tired because of the "lows" of coffee / sugar, and the energy during the highs was way more than required for my daily tasks.
Having a moderate level of energy, but constant, helps me be constant in the long run and able to have a couple more hours of good work per day.
Also, life with less anxiety and stress is awesome lol. Also, some slight money savings since I liked quality coffee.
However, I didn't notice a relationship between development skills and coffee. Maybe that some smarter people around are usually more health conscious.
I'm hosting mine as an S3 static website, with CloudFront as a CDN and for the domain name linking. Works pretty well.
I also have some sort of CI/CD, what I mean is that all my code is on GitHub and whenever there's new code to main, a GitHub action is fired that syncs the branch with the S3 bucket.
I've even managed to remove all the JavaScript from the site :D Works neatly!
Let me know if you (or anyone) wants more info ^_^
Edit: Forgot to mention, it's also almost free! I'm paying for the domain names and around 0.1$ / month to AWS.
As a MMA trainee myself, I fully agree. Love the sport (still thinking about ways to avoid injuries long term, tho). However, sadly, since the pandemic I don't feel comfortable going to trainings. I live in a country where there are no measures (at least none respected) so the risk of getting something in such an environment is high. Will go back when things settle down a bit tho :D
