This is exactly why I bought a surface 3: the stylus really helps me sketch, doodle, and think. I just wish we could think of a way better than a notepad to harness that experience.
The elephant in the room is when Apple will finally realize that people would very much like to use tablets for creative work instead of merely mindless consumption and bring out an iPad with stylus support. Post-Jobs, this should not be a problem.
