And you can turn those commands into scripts if you'd like with the ULP language. It's not necessarily pretty, but it's a straightforward way to automate repetitive tasks without requiring the authors of Eagle to figure out every possible use case.

There's a lot of things that I dislike about Eagle, but I definitely miss those things when I'm using other CAD packages.
