I don't see an audio jack in the specs. Am I right to assume the ipad is switching to dongles too?

Yes, they apparently dropped the jack here too. They probably did not say anything to avoid the same backslash as the iPhone.

No headphone jack IIRC. Not sure if they ship with an adapter in the box.
