Seems just like my experience with Windows, I am not sure if it's driver or software issue though. My printer is often reported as having an error on both my windows laptops and does not allow printing (gets stuck in the spool queue) , but prints fine from ipad, android or Linux. Even a clean install of Windows did not help.
