Recognizing in others is easier than in oneself, that is really true. It took me years to recognize it in me and I am still on a trajectory. But then it _is_ this trajectory that life is about, isn't it?

Can feel like a superpower to help somebody out of cynicism and agree together that it is worth trying. Never give up.

Agreed, this is something I've been working about improving in myself over the years too.

Sometimes all it takes to fix a problem is to just try something, but by being overly cynical I end up repeatedly self-sabotaging.
