Big ads in cities are more difficult to avoid, but then again, someone wearing a sports shirt of his favourite soccer club is doing advertisement. Someone wearing a cross for his religion, etc.

I don't think drawing a arbitary line and saying "this is mindrape" and "this is legit" is really working.

That being said, I do want to paintball big ads and alike.

Yeah, but those give more room for consent than something like a youtube ad.

You passively see those advertisements while doing something else. When you see a television or youtube ad, your full attention is much more likely on the computer and on that ad.
