I notice when I get a taxi often the drivers seem to be constantly talking to someone on the phone, like they have long running low intensity conversations going for long periods of time.


Probably talking to friends/family that drive taxi as well. Just passing time while driving around town.


Yes! I wondered if I was the only one thinking that. I'm often confused if they are on the phone or not.

Yeah cause there’s long pauses I guess.

I get the impression they’re talking to their wives.

Maybe just talking to family/buddies.

Perhaps these long running low intensity conversations are what Amazon wants to stamp out.
