Nah, LLMs have fixed search. For now. I use them daily for that.

Fully expect them to include youtube levels of advertising in 1-2 years though. Just to compensate for the results being somewhat not spammy.

The other option is traditional search engines, which are chock full of spam.

Or perhaps Kagi, but apparently they only give you the tools to exclude the content farms, they don't exclude them themselves.


It does require excluding things yourself, but I've had a lot of success with uBlacklist. Some of the spam sites all have certain common characteristics that you can specifically search for to come up with a full search result of spam domains


Why? I'm happy to spend VC money while they're offering it. If and when they stop giving me an offering that I'm satisfied with, I'll stop using it.
