Ehhhh... To me Briar has great potential that is dwarfed by limitations... It's trying to be sort of like FireChat [1] but with less or subpar features... For real, someone should make a fire chat OSS project with some proprietary E2EE on top of the the OSS one based on Signal protocol. Maybe add some duress mode on top
