Show HN: EasyShot – macOS screenshot thumbnails that don't disappear after 5s

I kept missing the drag window on macOS's built-in screenshot thumbnail. It fades out in ~5 seconds and if you're not fast enough, you have to go find the file on your Desktop.

EasyShot watches your screenshot folder and shows a floating thumbnail that stays until you drag it into whatever app you need — Slack, Figma, email, wherever.

It's a single Swift file, no dependencies, ~200 lines. Notarized DMG or build from source in one command. Took about 30 minutes to build because the problem was driving me insane.

I'm not familiar with screenshot drag. Does that copy the image into the target?

If you take a lot of screenshots, I highly recommend https://shottr.cc (nagware/freemium)

- Shows preview with buttons to copy to clipboard and/or save to file

- Can be configured to automatically copy/save (open app to preview last capture)

- Preview has tons of useful features like crop, annotations, color picker, ruler, OCR

OOh! this is the first genuinely interesting thing I've seen on HN for days! I find the biggest issue is when you have multiple 4k monitors, you take a screenshot, and obviously it pops up 3 screens east of my current pointer position, and I just can't get over there quick enough!

Whenever I take a screenshot, it is a race against time to drag it where I want it. I believe I am now faster :)
